Outdoor facilities are designated for faculty, staff, and students on the S&T campus. The outdoor facilities include the intramural turf fields, the miner walking trail, the track, and the sand volleyball court. All facilities are located on campus.

Please do not move the soccer goals.
Please do not climb or attach any equipment to the fence.
No spitting on the fields.
Please pick up trash prior to leaving.
In the event of an accident orinjury resulting in bodily fluids on the turf:
Stop all activity,
Contact the recreation department for proper cleaning,
Resume play once the area has been thoroughly cleaned and dried.
In case of inclement weather, all activity must be stopped and patrons should seek shelter immediately.
The Department of Athletics has the right to close the turf field and cancel activities at any time.
Priority will be given to the Department of Athletics scheduled and sponsored events.
Second priority will be given to open recreation.
The north field is designated for soccer.
The south field is designated for other activities.
All activities are first-come first-serve. An activity should not exceed one hour if another group is waiting touse the facility.
Metal cleats – use only rubber or plastic cleats
Penetrating the turf with stakes, flags, or other materials
Tobacco and alcohol products of any kind
All food and beverage products, including gum and shelled seeds or nuts
Pets or any other animals
Glass bottles or glass containers of any type
Marking lines on the turf with paint, tape, etc.
Roller blades, cycles of any kind, skateboards, and strollers
Chairs, canopies, or tables
Firearms, weapons or any other illegal item
Fireworks or any open flame
Golfing, shot putting, javelin or discus throwing
Model planes or rockets
Motorized vehicles of any type
Suntan lotions, oils or creams of any kind; sunscreen should be applied prior to entry
Vandalism
Vandalism to property, equipment or the fields will not be tolerated. These actions will lead to police and/or University action and loss of privileges.
Lost or Stolen Items
The Department of Athletics is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
